Explore Norway’s coastline, remote Jan Mayen, and Greenland's vast fjords. Encounter Arctic wildlife, dramatic landscapes, and, with luck, the mesmerising aurora borealis on this unforgettable Arctic voyage.

Begin your journey in Tromsø, the gateway to the Arctic, where dramatic fjords and snow-capped peaks set the scene for your epic adventure. Traverse the wild Arctic Ocean to the mysterious island of Jan Mayen, an isolated volcanic outpost, before reaching Greenland's majestic Scoresby Sund, home to the world’s largest fjord system. Here, towering icebergs drift silently, ancient glaciers carve the rugged landscape, and the raw beauty of nature surrounds you. Sail on to Iceland, the "Land of Fire and Ice," where you’re treated to scenes of dramatic glaciers and volcanic landscapes.

Throughout this expedition, you have the chance to observe iconic Arctic wildlife. You may encounter humpback and pilot whales in the frigid waters, while on land, you have the possibility of seeing Arctic reindeer, musk oxen, Arctic hare, and even the elusive Arctic fox. If luck is on your side, a narwhal or even a polar bear might also appear. The skies are equally captivating, hosting white-tailed eagles, Arctic terns, fulmars, and a variety of splendid seabirds.

As night falls, be sure to look towards the sky in the hope of witnessing the magical northern lights. This spectacular natural phenomenon offers a surreal light display as vibrant shades of blue, green, pink and violet dance across the night sky.

Sail aboard the Sylvia Earle, a purpose-built expedition vessel. Enjoy dedicated observation areas and comfortable lounge areas where you can spot passing wildlife or perhaps witness the dazzling aurora borealis.
