Small Australian-owned expedition-style cruise ships, Coral Expeditions I & II are specially designed and purpose-built to exacting standards for maximum stability and comfort - a perfect base to explore the spectacular the Great Barrier Reef, as well as Tasmania and The Kimberley.

Large enough to offer all modern amenities and the comfort of much bigger ships, yet small enough to retain the atmosphere of a private yacht, the 35-metre twin-hulled boutique catamarans accommodate 40-50 guests. Both vessels can access even the most hard-to-reach locations that other vessels simply cannot reach – assuring you of a unique adventure.

Throughout the voyages you will enjoy the attentive service of the all-Australian and New Zealand crews.

Coral Expeditions I accommodates 50 guests in 25 double or twin bedded cabins, each fully equipped with a spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning and ample storage space.

Coral Expeditions II accommodates 44 guests in 22 double or twin bedded cabins, which feature traditional maritime stylings with wood panelled walls. All are fully equipped with a spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning and ample storage space, and feature large picture windows, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery.

Both ships have a spacious lounge, offering a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery in air-conditioned comfort, and feature a comprehensive reference library and plasma screens. The large Sun Deck is another popular place to relax and take in the panoramic views. Meals are served in the modern dining room, and with space for all guests to dine during one sitting and no assigned seating, meal times are a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers. The captain operates an open bridge policy, allowing you to spend time with his maritime crew as you cruise..Both ships are Australian flagged, registered and staffed, and are fitted with state-of-the-art safety and navigation equipment, plus wireless internet facilities.
